Where does the time go??

Wow! I can't believe it has been so long since I had time to get an entry in here. Last week was another rough week. I woke up Sunday (the 1st) with a couple itchy bites on my arm...and my afternoon the start of hives was apparent. I can't believe it...just six weeks before was when I had my last outbreak. I went to the doctor on Monday and got a shot and some prescriptions. Tuesday I was fine...no itchiness or redness at all! But then Wednesday morning I wokeup with big red blotches that almost burned more than itched. Last time I had that was the day I ended up in the ER. So I called the doctor and they had me come back in for two more shots. By the end of Wednesday I was almost clear again. But Thursday morning I wokeup covered and itchy once again. Well having already missed all day Monday of work and only working two hours on Wednesday (once they give me the shot it knocks me out) I decided I couldn't miss again, so I went to work that way. I worked all day and then went home to rest. Friday I was fine and have been every since. So weird!

My FIL had his brain tumor removed on Tuesday. So far he is doing extremely well. They are fairly sure they got it all. And his left side is not paralyzed like they thought it may be after the surgery. They have actually had him up on his feet taking a few steps (with help). They are hoping to get him into some extensive therapy to get him back walking and doing most things on his own again. He hasn't been able to walk (without any help) for several months now. We are feeling very good about his recovery so far. It is a huge relief.

I really need to get motivated to get my house organized. I know once I get organized I will have a lot more ambition to get unfinished craft projects and such done. Not to mention I still need to get my bathrooms painted. Hopefully the weather will stay nice (no rain or extreme heat please) so I can open the house up and get going! Anyone want to come keep my company while I work? I always work so much better when I am not home alone! How weird is that? Well I guess I better get back to my work so I can say I accomplished something today. I am guessing I won't be getting anything done at home tonight...we are already heading into town to help friends with their new deck.
